Rooted in faith and fueled by purpose, The Juanita Mincey Foundation exists to make sure that our women, youth and senior neighbors are never forgotten. TJMF was founded on the belief that every child deserves a strong start, every woman deserves empowerment and every senior deserves dignity in care. Inspired by the Christian values instilled by Reverend Juanita Mincey, the foundation has grown into a multifaceted service organization under the visionary leadership of her daughter, Denise Mincey-Mills, a dynamic leader with a deep passion for education, healthcare access, and community building.

Denise, a University of Miami alumni and respected civic leader, brings years of community engagement to her role. She brings both professional experience and personal dedication to this work, serving on several nonprofit and advisory boards and building bridges between families and the services they need. Her leadership has helped shape TJMF into a hub of holistic support- a place where women, youth and seniors alike receive not only scholarships and care, but advocacy, joy, and hope.

We serve our youth with early education support, social services, and mental health wellness checks. Through TJMF, we provide scholarship assistance for early learners and college bound students. For women we provide guidance, hands-on experiences and education to help enhance the quality of their lives. For seniors we offer mental health screenings, Medicaid and Medicare navigation, and connections to partner programs that promote independence, wellness, and social engagement.

 

Our team also works closely with like-minded organizations to amplify our impact and reach more individuals Nationally,  Internationally and across South Florida.
